The ComCon 2012
General information
15 –18 March, Tver region (200 kilometers from Moscow).
• Start: 22.00, Thursday, 15 of March
• End: 17:00, Sunday, 18 of March
The Comcon is the annual LARP Convention in Central region of Russia, carried out since 2005. Average number of participates is about 550 people.
The program of the Convention includes
• games presentations of the summer season 2012
• LARP theory seminars
• fencing tournament
• show and concerts
• historical ball
• market place
We are glad to invite our colleagues from other countries!
The main program of the Comcon is hosted in Russian, and few of Russian LARPers speak English well enough. In 2012 Comcon includes an English-spoken stream of seminars. We will also provide interpreters to English for our foreign friends.
A week in Moscow
We are ready to meet you in Moscow from Saturday, the 10th of March. For our colleagues we will rent a flat, convey them to Comcon on Thursday and back to Moscow on Sunday. You can also stay there on Monday, the 19th.
Organization
Please note, you need to obtain a visa from Russian embassy to visit Russia. It can take few weeks to get visa, and procedure varies from country to country. Please, check conditions in your country and let us know about required paperwork from our side.
Please keep in mind when you plan your flights that it will take from4 to 5 hours to come back to Moscow from Tver. To prevent any risks it is better to book your tickets from Moscow for Monday morning. Time difference with Europe is 3 hours, so the arrival time to you home country may be before your departure from Moscow.
Prices (for whole living)
Apartments
• Economic class (from 1 to 4 beds in a room, mostly bunk beds, a bathroom on a stock). Meals are not included. Costs 1500 rubles (about 37 Euros)
• Standard class (4 beds in a room, bulk beds, a bathroom in a room). Dinners are included. Costs 3100 rubles (about 77 Euros)
• Euro-4 class (four beds in a room, in a cottage, a bathroom in a room). Dinners are included. Costs 4000 rubles (about 100 Euros)
• Euro-2 class (two beds in a room, in a cottage, a bathroom in a room). Dinners are included. Costs 5600 rubles (about 140 Euros)
• Suits (two beds in a room, all rooms are differently designed.) Suits are sold only for two. Dinners are included. Cost 6200 (155 Euros), 12400 for the whole suite (about 300 Euros).
Meals for the whole time:
• Breakfasts and suppers, actual for who don’t live in economic class, for dinners are included: 1500 rubles (37 Euros)
• Only suppers cost 1000 Rubles (25 Euros)
• Breakfast, suppers and dinners (for those who live in Economic class): 2600 rubles (65 Euros)
